We are pleased to have had a good response to our request for fabricators of banger parts to get in touch to register and obtain approval for their components. We are still keen to hear from any one else out there who has not yet been in touch via their nearest Committee member. We will soon be able to publish a list of approved suppliers.

A remind to all Banger drivers that cars must run an efficient silencer. At a recent practice event levels of over 130db were recorded, which is way above acceptable levels. Taking the insides out of the cat does not constitute an effective silencer, and at the moment we are under intense scrutiny by local authorities.

Silencers MUST be fitted, and be effective.
