THANK YOU, STEVE REES!
As Steve Rees steps down from his role as Chairman of the
ORC, everyone within the ORCi would like to extend our sincere thanks and
appreciation for his dedication, commitment and service to the sport which he
has been part of for seven decades.
Steve has been a respected figure within the world of oval
racing, and will always be for his contribution to the sport.
The role of Chairman comes with many challenges, and the
time, effort and hard work that goes on behind the scenes often goes unseen.
We would like to thank Steve and his wife Jackie also for
their support, guidance and commitment over the years, enjoy the well earned
retirement.
In the interim; Mr Bill Barrack, as Vice-Chairman, will take
over as Chairman until the AGM in January.
